Who is your Authority?

Most people online posture as authorities
on things they have no authority on.

I see this most when speaking on altered states/entheogenic medicine. In the West, our judeo-christian world view is buried in binaries.

We call these experiences “good,”
“healing,”
tools for self-improvement.
Or “bad” “short cuts” “demonic”

oh the trickster grins.

the capitalist prayer:
“Make my life better.”
But The Great Mystery
is not a product.
It doesn’t work like that, I promise.

These rituals will not be strangled into the modern consumption for my herculean desires and need. These experiences amplify a process of the soul. Amplify the modern terror of the esoteric. No different than the fear that burned witches and erased our gnostic roots, wiping out other cultures completely. Amplify what we refuse to see.
What we were never taught to name. the objectification and terror of another cultures other gods. A demon is simply another culture’s god—
banished from our cosmological psyche We used to refer to and treat the Native Americans as Savages. Nothing new here.

in being guided into the dark wood,
drawn deep into the Mystery of your own nature… Do not enter the Temple.
